Karnataka : 1500 special buses announced in the state for upcoming Deepavali | Bengaluru

The Karnataka authorities has introduced 1,500 particular buses to assist commuters journey through the forthcoming Deepavali festive season. The Karnataka State Street Transport Company (KSRTC) will shortly announce a schedule for these additional buses.  

In line with the KSRTC, these buses will function solely from Bengaluru’s Kempegowda Bus Station (KBS) and hyperlink to Dharmastala, Kukkesubramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubball, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar.

Aside from these, buses to Tirupathi and Hyderabad, and different locations in Andhra Pradesh Telangana, akin to Vijayawada, can even function from KBS.  

Particular buses from the Mysuru Street Bus Station (MRBS) will run to that city.  

Buses to cities in Kerala and Tamil Nadu will operated from the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Company (BMTC) bus station within the metropolis’s Shantinagar space. These will run to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, and Calicut, in addition to different locations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.  

In the meantime, as folks rejoice Naraka Chaturdasi on October 24 and Balipadyami on October 26, KSRTC is anticipating elevated passenger masses – particularly to and from Bengaluru – and so particular providers will run from October 21 to October 30. Timings for these can even be introduced shortly
