Karnataka govt orders survey of Arabic schools, says not following prescribed syllabus

Karnataka faculty training minister B C Nagesh Friday introduced that his division has ordered a survey of Arabic colleges as they have been allegedly not following the syllabus prescribed by the state training division.

The step was taken after the dad and mom of scholars reportedly complained to the training division saying that their kids finding out within the Arabic colleges weren’t on par with different college students.

“Lately, we received complaints (from dad and mom) that our kids (college students in Arabic colleges) are usually not able to competing with different kids as a result of the usual of training in Arabic colleges is just not correct. So, we determined to have a survey of Arabic colleges,” Nagesh informed the media in Madikeri Friday.

“We have now come to know that they (Arabic colleges) are usually not working the faculties in line with the syllabus prescribed by the training division,” Nagesh added.

Based on him, there are round 200 Arabic colleges in Karnataka, of which 106 are aided by the federal government, and 80 odd colleges are unaided.
