K’taka govt to regularise services of 30,867 civic workers soon: CM Bommai | Bengaluru

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday stated companies of the remaining 30,867 “Pourakarmikas” (civic employees) working within the State will likely be regularised within the coming days.

He additionally stated that they need to be addressed as “Poura Naukaras” and never “Pourakarmikas”, stating that calling them by a unique identify will give them a way of self-respect and dignity.

“There are 42,000 civic employees working within the State, of which the companies of 11,133 individuals have been regularised. The companies of others will likely be regularised within the coming days,” Bommai stated.

Mentioning that the chance allowance of ₹2,000 has been introduced for the civic employees within the finances, he additional stated, the present regulation has been modified to guard their curiosity and to make them stay with a way of dignity and self-reliance.

In Belagavi district, the companies of 309 cleaners and 1,437 loaders have been made everlasting, and the method for regularising the companies of others is on, he stated.

Bommai stated at any price the training of the youngsters of civic employees should not be hampered and the federal government is able to deal with the issues.
