Manipur violence: Army soldier injured in ‘unprovoked’ firing; operations on | Latest News India

An Indian Military soldier was injured after miscreants resorted to unprovoked firing from Kanto Sabal in direction of Chingmang village in Manipur’s Imphal West on the intervening evening of Sunday, the Military mentioned on Monday.

“Armed miscreants resorted to unprovoked firing from Kanto Sabal in direction of Chingmang village throughout evening of 18/19 June. Military Columns resorted to managed retaliatory fireplace holding in view presence of villagers within the space. One Military Soldier sustained Gun Shot Wound, evacuated to Navy Hospital Leimakhong and is secure,” the Spear Corps of the Indian Military tweeted.

Over 100 folks have misplaced their lives within the ethnic violence in Manipur, which has been persevering with for greater than a month now.
