Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Sunday issued a stark warning about what she believes will occur within the U.S. if Donald Trump sends American troops into Iran.
“In the event you ship in U.S. navy troops into Iran, there’s going to be a political revolution in America,” Greene wrote on X.
“WE. ARE. DONE,” she continued. “We mentioned no extra international wars, and we meant it. The coalition will unite and be unstoppable. I’ll be sure of it.”
“Finish this struggle. It’s silly,” added Greene, a former shut ally of Trump who has since break up with him over the Iran battle, the Epstein problem and different issues.
Trump has responded by calling her a “lunatic.”
Greene’s submit got here as Trump warned Iran that the “clock is ticking” on peace negotiations amid an more and more fragile ceasefire to so-called “Operation Epic Fury” which he launched in February.
“For Iran, the clock is ticking, and so they higher get transferring quick, or there gained’t be something left of them. Time is of the essence,” Trump wrote on his Reality Social platform, considered one of a number of posts geared toward Iran that critics have interpreted as genocidal.
