Steve Martin, Martin Brief and Selena Gomez filmed a kooky skit that aired at first of the ceremony. Within the sketch, Martin tried to interrupt off his decades-long friendship together with his fellow comedy nice, in a transparent ode to Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson’s movie, “The Banshees of Inisherin.”
“However we’ve been greatest mates ― effectively, fake present enterprise mates ― for years. There’s nobody I really feel faux nearer to!” Brief insisted, because the trio threw round a number of feckin’ phrases that received amusing out of the viewers.
Luckily, Gomez was available to interrupt up the fake beef between the comedy greats, who’re each nominated for Excellent Efficiency by a Male Actor in a Comedy Sequence for his or her roles within the hit whodunnit.
“Hey guys, it’s okay,” Gomez interrupted. “You each clearly are going to lose.”
