Morgan Stanley COO Jon Pruzan to retire

Jan 9 (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley Chief Working Officer Jon Pruzan will retire from the financial institution on the finish of the month, based on a memo seen by Reuters.

Previously the finance chief on the Wall Road titan, Pruzan was made COO as a part of a management shakeup in mid-2021, which resulted in 4 new appointments.

On the time, the financial institution’s chief government, James Gorman, stated he was “extremely assured” one of many 4 could be the financial institution’s CEO sooner or later.

Traders have lengthy been speculating about who would succeed Gorman, who joined the financial institution in 2006 and took over as CEO in 2010.
