The Indian mission in Saudi Arabia on Thursday welcomed Saudi Arabia’s determination to exempt Indian nationals from submitting Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) to acquire a visa for travelling to the nation. The embassy stated that the exemption will present much-needed aid to over 2 million Indian nationals dwelling in Saudi Arabia.

“Embassy of India welcomes this announcement and thanks Authorities of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its determination to exempt Indian Nationals from submission of Police Clearance Certificates (PCC). It can present a lot wanted aid to over 2 million robust Indian neighborhood in KSA,” the Indian mission in Saudi Arabia tweeted.

“The PCC will not require Indian residents to acquire a visa for travelling to Saudi Arabia. This determination has been taken as part of the efforts of the 2 nations to strengthen their relations additional. The Embassy appreciates the contribution of over two million Indian residents dwelling peacefully within the Kingdom,” the assertion learn.

India-Saudi Arabia relations have strengthened significantly over the previous few years together with in political, safety, vitality, commerce, funding, well being, meals safety, cultural and defence fields.
