OpenAI has briefed US federal companies, state governments and 5 Eyes member nations on the capabilities of its new cybersecurity product over the previous week, Axios reported on Wednesday.

Cybersecurity is turning into a key battleground for AI labs akin to OpenAI and ⁠Anthropic as their superior AI fashions can each pose safety dangers and provide cyber protection capabilities, sparking curiosity from governments and enterprises.
