The mom of a teenage lady who died in a stampede on the Bengaluru cricket stadium on June 4, throughout a celebration of the Indian Premier League (IPL) victory of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), has filed a police grievance stating that jewelry value Rs 1 lakh which her daughter was sporting on the time of incident was lacking when her physique was handed over to the household.

Ashwini Shivakumar, 35, the mom of Divyanshi B S, 13, the youngest of 11 victims within the stadium stampede, on Thursday lodged a police grievance stating that her daughter’s physique nonetheless had a pair of gold earrings and a sequence when it was taken to the Bowring Hospital on the night of June 4.

It has been said that on the time of receiving the physique of {the teenager}, the household had not observed the absence of the gold ornaments, and it was solely later realised. The grievance has prompt that the ornaments have been stolen on the mortuary.

“There may be numerous sentimental worth connected to the ornaments as an indication of what was worn by my daughter in her final moments,” the Yelahanka resident has said whereas searching for an investigation.

“She needed to see him (Virat Kohli) up shut. Her want value her her life,” Divyanshi’s mom had said after her demise.

Class 9 pupil Divyanshi was a dancer and needed to develop into a veterinarian physician, her mom stated.

“She was a really mature particular person. Actually, she used to encourage me on deal with conditions in life,” Shivakumar added.

“Not simply Virat Kohli, she knew the achievements of Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, and even different gamers,” Shivakumar, who had accompanied her daughter to look at the RCB felicitation at Chinnaswamy Stadium, had stated a day after the demise.
