‘Paid less’ for attending PM Modi rally; protesters not to pursue case

The incident whereby a gaggle of individuals had threatened to file a dishonest criticism in opposition to a neighborhood BJP chief for allegedly not paying the assured quantity to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest rally close to Bengaluru was resolved amicably.

The group had staged a protest at Shidlaghatta in Chikkaballapur district Saturday, accusing the native BJP chief of paying solely Rs 200 every for taking part within the rally held close to Devanahalli after assuring them Rs 500 every.

The video of the protest was shared extensively on social media platforms with the Opposition Congress taking a dig on the BJP over the difficulty. The employees filed a criticism in opposition to BJP leaders, the Congress had stated in a tweet, asking get together members to make sure justice for many who have been ‘cheated’.

The Shidlaghatta police stated the difficulty was resolved amicably Saturday.

“That they had filed a criticism after which native leaders got here and addressed their issues. The labourers, too, didn’t want to push the difficulty additional,” the official stated, including that an FIR was not filed because the criticism was not pursued additional.

The rally was held Friday (November 11), following the inauguration of Terminal-2 of Kempegowda Worldwide Airport and a 108-feet statue of Kempegowda close to the airport by the prime minister.
