The BBC’s Paris correspondent, James Waterhouse, described the French capital as “jubilant” on Sunday as he reported from the Champ de Mars the place followers greeted the Paris St-Germain (PSG) gamers after their Champions League win.
However celebrations have been tainted on Saturday, as hundreds of cops have been deployed to curb unrest that disrupted public companies and left 219 individuals injured.
Eight individuals have been in a critical situation following clashes between soccer followers and police, France’s Inside Minister Laurent Nuñez stated.
French authorities stated that 780 individuals have been arrested in Paris after clashes.
