#politics | TRS hits back at Rahul jibe on national ambition: ‘First win Amethi’

A day after Congress chief Rahul Gandhi dominated out an alliance with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and took a jibe on the TRS’s nationwide ambitions, saying its chief Ok Chandrashekhar Rao was “free to think about he was main a nationwide and even a global get together”, and “contest elections within the US or China”, the TRS hit again.

Rahul made the remarks whereas speaking in regards to the TRS renaming itself as Bharat Rashtra Samithi, at a press convention on the sidelines of the Bharat Jodo Yatra that’s passing via Telangana.

Reacting to KTR’s criticism, senior Congress chief Jairam Ramesh mentioned there was nothing improper in Rahul’s feedback. Replying to a question at a press convention in Hyderabad, Ramesh mentioned Rahul meant that the TRS plans, together with turning into “GRS (World Rashtra Samithi)”, had nothing to do with the Congress, and that it was free to do what it needed in a democratic nation.

Former Congress MLA from Telangana Duddilla Sridhar Babu tweeted: “Mr KTR, Please do not forget that if not for Congress get together and particularly Sonia ji’s, and Rahul Ji’s dedication,Telangana folks’s aspirations wouldn’t have seen mild of the day… Rahulji’s reputation and Gandhi household’s contribution in the direction of nation constructing is invaluable and might’t be measured by a petty win or loss.”
