Raging Lions win Road Safety Cricket Cup

The Board for Veteran Cricket in India (Ministry of Sports activities and Youth Affairs, New Delhi), organised a one-day occasion ‘Highway Security Cricket Cup’ to unfold consciousness and social message about street security and precautions, at Shivajinagar Police Floor, just lately.

Amitabh Gupta, the then Police Commissioner, Pune, Vikram Kumar, Pune Municipal Commissioner, Rahul Chavan, Assistant Charity Commissioner and their colleagues gave enthusiastic assist to this initiative which was conceptualised by Meehir Kulkarni, said a launch.

Beneath the captaincy  of Gupta, the Raging Lions (Pune Police) and SkyHawks (Pune Municipal Company) led by Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, all of the gamers put up a great present.

Raging Lions gained the toss of the match and elected to bat first. Each groups received an opportunity to bat seven and 4 overs. Raging Lions scored 95 runs in seven overs of the primary innings. In reply, the SkyHawks’ innings ended for 46 runs. Within the second innings, Raging Lions scored 39 runs in 4 overs whereas SkyHawks may rating solely 49 runs. Raging Lions gained the match by 39 runs whereas SkyHawks completed in second place.  Sandeep Patole of SkyHawks was named one of the best bowler whereas Vishal Extra of Raging Lions was named one of the best batsman and man of the match.
