In his swimsuit, John stated he makes a dwelling promoting his images to numerous third events. He took a collection of photos of Garcelle strolling across the streets of New York in Could 2022.
He described the images as, “Garcelle Beauvais standing together with her hand out within the streets of NYC carrying a purse whereas sporting denim shorts and a black satin-like shirt.”

John stated he obtained a copyright for the images. Regardless of him proudly owning the rights, he claimed Garcelle used the images on her Fb with out permission or paying him a dime.
The swimsuit reads, “[Garcelle], with out permission or authorization from [John], actively copied and/or displayed [John’s] pictures on the Account and engaged on this misconduct knowingly and in violation of the USA copyright legal guidelines.”

John stated he labored exhausting to create the images and chosen the “subject material, timing, lighting, angle, perspective, depth, lens and digital camera gear used to seize the picture.”

John stated Garcelle posted the images in a collage on Could 17. “With out permission or authorization from Plaintiff, [Garcelle] volitionally copied and/or displayed [John’s] copyright protected Pictures on the Account,” the swimsuit learn.

John accused Garcelle of knowingly and willfully violating his copyrights. He stated she acquired a monetary profit immediately attributable to the infringement — arguing his work elevated site visitors to her account.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for the alleged infringement plus an order prohibiting Garcelle from improperly posting his work with out paying sooner or later.
The fact star has but to answer the case.
As we first reported, Garcelle’s former enemy Lisa Rinna settled an analogous lawsuit because the case was headed to trial.
