In response, the Log Cabin Republicans launched a press release, calling the advert “divisive” and “determined.” They emphasised that DeSantis has alienated swing-state and youthful voters, claiming that his excessive rhetoric has crossed into unmasked homophobic territory.
“Desantis’ [sic] rhetoric will lose hard-fought good points in important races throughout the nation. This outdated playbook has been tried up to now and has failed – repeatedly,” the Republican group warned.
“Left-wing gays have tried to hijack the equality motion by pushing their radical intercourse and gender insurance policies on youngsters whereas slandering anybody who disagrees with them,” they continued. “Ron DeSantis and his crew cannot inform the distinction between commonsense gays and the unconventional Left gays. He, sadly, sees all of them the identical. His naive coverage positions are harmful and politically silly.”
