The outbreak occurred on March 18 on a farm situated within the village of Potou close to the city of Louga, not removed from the Langue de Barbarie Nationwide Park the place an H5N1 outbreak was recognized on March 12, the Paris-based WOAH mentioned, citing Senegalese authorities.
