A winter storm shifting throughout Colorado closed northbound Interstate 25 south of Pueblo and several other different mountain highways for crashes and security issues, in keeping with the Colorado Division of Transportation.
The storm is anticipated to deliver as much as 3 inches of snow to metro Denver whereas dumping as much as 12 inches in southern Colorado, in keeping with the Nationwide Climate Service.
As of 8:30 p.m. Monday, the next highways are closed due to crashes or security issues:
- Northbound I-25 between exit 71 for Graneros Street and Colorado 165/Colorado Metropolis
- U.S. 160 between Fort Garland and Bear Creek Street, close to Walsenburg
