A terrorist was neutralised by safety forces in an encounter in Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir, police mentioned on Tuesday. The terrorist was recognized as Aqib Mustaq Bhat, who initially labored for proscribed terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, had been working with Lashkhar-e-Taiba’s native offshoot The Resistance Entrance (TRF). Quoting Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “Killed terrorist recognized as Aqib Mustaq Bhat of Pulwama (A class). He initially labored for HM terror outfit, these days he had been working with TRF. Killer of late Sanjay Sharma #neutralised.”
The encounter occurred at Padgampora village in Awantipora tehsil below Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, days after focused killing of one more Kashmiri Pandit.
