When Khloé gave Lamar an ultimatum throughout an intervention, Lamar reportedly determined that they might break up.
“I used to be suggested to do that intervention, and the interventionist mentioned, ‘You are gonna go in there and inform him, ‘You should go to rehab, and should you don’t remain for a three-month program,’ you are gonna say you are getting a divorce,'” Khloé recalled. “Everybody round me was like, ‘He’ll by no means say he desires the divorce.’ We do the intervention.”
She continued, “I give my speech. And he was like, ‘Okay, all I would like is my passport, and yeah, let’s get the f—— divorce. I used to be like, trying round like, ‘Wait. Wait. I … I do not need the divorce. You guys advised me I’ve to say this.’ Lamar left instantly, was like, ‘We’re getting the f—— divorce, and I am by no means coming again right here once more.'”
Khloé initially withdrew the primary petition she filed in 2015, earlier than Lamar’s overdose. She filed for divorce once more afterward, which was finalized in December 2016.
