The defence ministry on Friday knowledgeable the Parliament that there are 135,891 posts mendacity vacant in all three providers of the armed drive – Indian Military, Indian Air Power, and Indian Navy.
The military accounted for the best variety of vacancies (118,485), adopted by the navy (11,587) and the air drive (5,819), minister of state for defence Ajay Bhatt stated within the Lok Sabha through the ongoing winter session of the Parliament.
In response to the ministry information, 40,000 vacancies have been marketed for JCOs/OR within the military, 3,000 for Agniveer within the navy, and three,000 within the air drive as Agniveervayu. The Agniveers shall be paid a customized bundle of ₹30,000 per thirty days, with fastened yearly increment, the minister knowledgeable the Home in an official assertion.

“Agniveers is not going to be required to contribute to any provident fund of the federal government. There shall be no entitlement to gratuity and any form of pensionary advantages within the case of Agniveers. Bhatt acknowledged these in response to a query raised by Congress MP Deepak Baij.
