Donald Trump on Thursday briefly broke from answering a filibuster-related query from Actual America’s Voice correspondent Brian Glenn to take a swipe at Glenn’s fiancée, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
The president paused mid-answer and pointed Glenn out to the room.
“, you act so good. I like this man. He’s a terrific man,” he mentioned.
Then Trump added: “Although I don’t love his girlfriend an excessive amount of.”
The comment prompted laughter from these in attendance.
“I received’t let you know who the girlfriend is,” Trump continued. “However I like him. And I’ve all the time preferred him. It’s nice that he hasn’t modified.”
Trump then returned to answering the query.
Greene and Glenn introduced their engagement in December.
Whereas Glenn seems to stay in Trump’s good graces, the president has not too long ago turned on Greene, calling her “deranged” after she broke with him on a number of points, pushing to launch all paperwork associated to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and opposing his selections on the Iran conflict.
