‘Unacceptable’: Farooq Abdullah’s remark on Poonch attack draws flak from BJP | Latest News India

The Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) on Sunday criticised former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and Nationwide Convention (NC) president Farooq Abdullah after he requested the safety companies to not ‘harass innocents’ throughout their investigation towards the perpetrators of the current Poonch terror assault. The proper-wing social gathering alleged that individuals perceive the ‘in poor health motives’ of the NC management and that it’s attempting to misuse such important conditions and creating wedge between communities.

“Abdullah accused investigation companies of harassing widespread individuals within the identify of the Poonch terror assault probe. He shouldn’t mislead individuals and relatively ask them to hitch the probe to punish the culprits as quickly as doable,” senior BJP chief Kavinder Gupta mentioned as quoted by information company PTI. He additional added that the remarks made by Abdullah are ‘unacceptable’ as these statements have the potential to ‘alienate individuals from the mainstream’ and finally hamper the investigation.

The NC chief on Saturday termed the Poonch terror assault a safety lapse and alleged that safety forces are ‘harassing and detaining harmless individuals’. “Now they (forces) have begun an operation in Poonch. Motion shouldn’t be taken towards harmless individuals…They need to care for harmless individuals. It’s their very own fault and now they’re harassing and detaining harmless individuals,” Abdullah had informed reporters after providing Eid prayers at dargah Hazratbal.

5 troopers have been killed in a militant assault when an Military car was attacked between Poonch and Bhimber Gali space near the Line of Management in Jammu’s Rajouri district. A significant operation has been launched within the space to trace down the attackers. Some individuals have already been detained to find clues concerning the attackers.

The previous J&Ok chief minister on Friday instructed the forces to look into doable safety lapses that led to the killing of the troopers.

“The realm (the place the assault happened) is nearer to the border. There should be a safety situation which they should test. There was a mistake someplace, they need to look into it,” he had mentioned.

The previous depyty chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir additional urged individuals with information in regards to the terror strike to return ahead and participate within the probe.
