Washington:

The U.S. navy stated on Thursday that it had destroyed 4 unmanned drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen.

The U.S. Central Command stated on the social media web site X that the drones “introduced an imminent menace to service provider vessels and U.S. Navy ships within the area.”

The drones had been aimed toward a coalition vessel and a U.S. warship and “had been engaged in self protection over the Crimson Sea,” the assertion from the U.S. Central Command stated, including there have been no accidents or injury reported to the U.S. or coalition ships.
