Herbert allegedly misrepresented to Verdugo about Flomenhaft’s dealing with of his case, claiming that it “couldn’t be finalized until Verdugo consented to an MHL Article 81 Guardianship that Verdugo didn’t need or want.”
In keeping with the docs, Morrissey started serving as Verdugo’s guardian beginning on January 19, 2010, and she or he continued till October 7, 2015.
Herbert and his agency “initially partnered and conspired with Sabrina Morrissey, Esq. of M&M to impose on Verdugo an MHL (Psychological Hygiene Regulation) Article 81 Guardianship,” the lawsuit acknowledged.
“Underneath the guise of defending and vindicating Verdugo, they collectively pursued a twin litigation technique aimed toward, eliminating Flomenhaft” and are accused of “reaping Morrissey & Morrissey substantial court-awarded charges as Guardian counsel by litigation: maligning Flomenhaft legally and ethically.”
