Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud on Thursday recused himself from listening to a batch of petitions searching for contempt motion towards humorist Kunal Kamra for his alleged scandalous tweets towards the judiciary, information company PTI reported.

The order granting interim bail to senior journalist Arnab Goswami was handed by a bench headed by Justice Chandrachud.
