Yatra objective is to bring India together, not 2024 polls: Rahul

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Saturday mentioned the target of the Bharat Jodo Yatra was not 2024 normal elections however to unite the individuals of the nation, as he alleged that the BJP-RSS have been spreading “violence and hatred”.

Addressing a press convention right here through the yatra, he mentioned 1000’s of crores of media cash has been spent in attempting to undertaking him in a method which is simply “untruthful and unsuitable”, and the individuals who care to look rigorously will see what his fact is.

He mentioned the yatra’s goal was to carry India collectively and never the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

“The target as I’ve said is to carry India collectively. Goal from my perspective will not be the 2024 elections. I’m seeing that India is being divided, violence is being unfold in our society and that is damaging our nation,” the previous Congress chief mentioned.

Gandhi mentioned the yatra is aimed toward elevating three basic points which can be interconnected — violence and hatred “the BJP-RSS are spreading and the division that they’re finishing up”; the huge focus of wealth being allowed, which is destroying India’s financial system and leading to unemployment; and big and steady enhance in costs.

Expelled JD(S) MLA joins Cong march

The ninth day of the Karnataka leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra noticed expelled JD(S) MLA Gubbi Srinivas collaborating within the march. He represents Gubbi constituency in Tumakuru district. Srinivas was launched to Rahul by former Deputy CM G Parameshwara as he joined the march. The legislator was expelled after the social gathering accused him of cross-voting through the Rajya Sabha elections held in July, a cost he denies.
