The pinnacle of the Houthi Prisoner Affairs Committee, Abdul Qader al-Murtada, mentioned the Iran-backed motion would launch 100 prisoners on Saturday belonging to Yemen’s authorities forces.
A call was issued by the chief of the Houthi motion, Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din al-Houthi, Murtada mentioned on Friday.
Yemen’s Houthis final launched prisoners in April 2023 in an alternate of 250 Houthis for 70 members of Yemen’s authorities forces.
“Tomorrow we are going to implement a unilateral humanitarian initiative during which we are going to launch greater than 100 prisoners,” Murtada mentioned in an announcement.
