Karnataka minister stages dharna over ‘delay’ in canal works

Karnataka Transport Minister B Sriramulu, who additionally handles the division of tribal welfare, staged an in a single day protest over the ‘delay’ in restore works of the Low-Stage Canal (LLC) of Tungabhadra river.

Sriramulu’s assertion got here in response to a tweet by the state Congress, which requested whether or not the minister was protesting towards his personal authorities or the chief minister, or the prime minister. “Why did such a scenario come up the place cupboard ministers need to protest towards their very own double engine authorities?” Congress had tweeted, taking a dig towards the Basavaraj Bommai authorities.
